MeshGuard is a WireGuard-based mesh VPN, built as a Tailscale alternative for securely networking your own devices.
What it does
- Automatic peer discovery so devices find each other without manual config.
- NAT traversal with relay fallback when a direct connection isn't possible.
- Private DNS for reaching devices by name.
- Zero-trust ACLs to control exactly which devices can talk to which.
MCP control plane
An MCP-based control plane lets an AI agent drive the network through natural-language commands:
- discover devices on the mesh
- run network diagnostics
- manage access policies
